SHOT BREAKDOWN / EPISODE DOSSIER / EDITABLE

See the whole story before you inspect every shot.

StoryTeardown turns authorized short-form video into an episode dossier first—story, characters, scenes, and props—then keeps every cut available for detailed review.

READ WIDE. THEN CUT DEEP.

A lighter delivery sequence

One result, three levels of attention.

The homepage explains the product. The workspace handles the job. The completed result opens with the episode dossier instead of a wall of sixty-plus clips.

01

Episode dossier

Start with the logline, structure, hooks, characters, scenes, and props.

02

Shot map

Open timecodes and craft fields only when detailed review is useful.

03

Local history

Reopen completed results on this browser without depending on a surviving tab.

The working method

Useful because every layer remains editable.

Local detection owns the timeline. AI drafts the meaning after separate consent. A human can correct every field and export the result.

01

Find the edit

Compare sampled frames on-device and mark likely hard cuts without moving the source file.

02

Name the craft

Ask a cloud model for an evidence-linked draft only after reviewing and consenting.

03

Move the work

Export JSON, CSV, or Fountain instead of copying an AI answer by hand.

Commercial model / validation stage

Charge for a usable episode deliverable, not for an AI button.

The first paid unit will bundle the episode dossier, editable shot map, and structured export. Payment is not enabled yet; pricing remains a testable hypothesis until human-rate research, repeated cost samples, and willingness-to-pay evidence agree.

01

Local map

$0 local

Cut detection, manual editing, browser history, and export. No model call.

02

AI episode

Price in validation

Episode dossier plus detailed, editable shot semantics for one authorized short.

03

Studio

Not open

Batch projects, team review, and controlled retention only after demand is proven.

A deliberate copyright boundary

Local cuts stay local. Cloud AI is not yet available.

Use video you own or have permission to analyze. Choosing a file and building the cut map happen entirely in your browser. Cloud semantic AI is not available in the current public local preview; it will require complete production infrastructure and a separate explicit consent before any video is sent.

Structured results, your edits, and small thumbnails are stored in this browser's IndexedDB so delivery survives a refresh or closed tab. The source video is never stored. You can delete each local record.
